Maple Ridge Stable is an instructional,
training and boarding facility located in Guilford,
Vermont.
Heidi J. Potter is a Level III Centered Riding
Instructor and a
CHA Certified Master Level Riding Instructor, Clinician
and Natural Horsemanship Trainer.
In Harmony With Horses is an equine educational
program created by Heidi Potter. The program is designed
to help equestrians of
all levels improve relationships with their horses.

is an experienced instructor,
trainer and clinician. Her training
as a Level III Centered Riding
Instructor/Clinician enables her
to help students of any discipline
find improved balance, comfort
and confidence in the saddle.
Mindfulness is the key element
of her program, "In Harmony
With Horses". Students working
with Heidi quickly learn how strongly
their minds, bodies and emotions
influence their horses. She is
known and appreciated for her
clear, kind and consistent training
and teaching style. |

Heidi
truly helps improve her students'
overall relationship with their
horses by helping them understand
things from the horse’s
perspective. She gains many
skills and insights from her
experience as a Martial Artist
and a Yoga practioner. Heidi
is thankful to have studied
under several wonderful teachers,
including Sally Swift, the founder
of Centered Riding©. As
a CHA (Certified Horsemanship
Association) Clinic Instructor
who is certified at the Master
Level, Heidi always puts an
emphasis on safety whether working
on the ground or in the saddle.
She teaches, trains and conducts
clinics throughout the country,
as well as at her family's southern
Vermont farm, Maple Ridge Stable.
